A different question
Repeated visits raise questions about expectations, familiarity and how children approach the next procedure. We are interested in whether a familiar immersive experience can play a useful role across visits.
What the current evidence establishes
The randomized trial focused on short-term outcomes around venipuncture. Accounts of subsequent visits are exploratory observations, not a dedicated longitudinal comparison. They do not establish sustained benefit over time.
A study to design together
A future evaluation could define repeated-visit outcomes, consistent standard care, acceptability, device tolerance and the effects of familiarity or boredom. Clinical and research teams should agree the design and oversight before evaluation.
