Immersive Smile Plus brings together immersive virtual reality and simple physical interaction, while healthcare teams continue normal care.
The research behind this approach compared adaptive VR with tactile feedback against static VR during venipuncture. In a randomized study of fifty participants, reported mean pain scores were one point eight, compared with five point zero.
